Work Hours:  8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Mon – Friday.

Rate:  $17.20/hr


  • General Accounting (General understanding of posting refunds)
  • Analysis (Srong analytical skills for working through items)
  • Accounts Receivable (Basic understanding)
  • Billing (General billing understanding for refund processing)
  • Bank Deposits (Process low volume of checks that come in)
  • Account Reconciliation (General account reconciliation)
  • Credit & Collections (Working activity for a third part to collect)
  • MS-Office (Excellent skills with Excel required)


Responsibilities may include:

  • Process bills and billing reports for various commodities.
  • Maintain and monitor the billing systems for accuracy and timeliness and reconcile reports.
  • Prepare the bills for various commodities. Run various reports and processes from the billing systems.
  • Verify, analyze, and reconcile reports.
  • Enter various adjustments as needed into the billing systems.
  • Understand rates as they apply to each customer type and prepare the appropriate billings as needed.
  • Payment posting & reconciliation, creating collection records, processing customer refunds, preparing account statements, and handling customer correspondence.
  • Preparing bank deposits, performing general reconciliation of deposit accounts, researching and recording bankrupt accounts,, as well as communicating relevant information to other departments.
  • Assist in the testing and implementation of computerized billing systems and processes.
  • Interpret contracts, and rates, and apply appropriate regulatory requirements to billing procedures to ensure accurate and timely billing.
  • Monitor billing systems for accuracy
  • Recommend and implement corrective measures, as needed
