End Date:  2/1/2019

Hours:  8am to 5:00 pm (mon-fri)

Pay Rate Range:  $22.40 – 36.44

Responsibilities: 

  • Supports Portfolio Manager/Program Managers across multiple programs with execution of NPO resource management plan and administers resource management demand and capacity planning process.
  • Actively collaborates with workstream leads and project managers to ensure each workstream is tracking closely to the schedule and established success criteria.
  • Assists program managers with developing and managing Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Administers portfolio intake and portfolio and program change control processes.
  • Works directly with portfolio, program and project managers to produce status reports and metrics.
  • Works across multiple workstreams to provide oversight, support and program level status reporting
  • Works closely with workstream leads and project managers to identify and mitigate risks and issues, actively managing and escalating issues and risks at the program level using SharePoint.
  • Responsible for portfolio and program decision log and action item tracking
  • Supports program managers in performing analysis on impacts of program change requests
  • Coordinates program level calls and meetings, including agendas and meeting notes, to socialize status updates, changes and process approaches
  • Ensures that cross workstream dependencies are well managed and communicated
  • Works closely with workstream leads and project managers to ensure they have adequate program level support, including ensuring resource constraints are mitigated
  • Prepares and manages multiple program level dashboards and monitoring tools

 

Qualifications:

  • Job Summary/Scope: Support portfolio/program/project managers in the coordination and completion of programs/projects.
  • Provide administrative and technical support such as scheduling, preparing presentations, routine program status reports, and tracking program milestones and budgets.
  • Communicate any issues, problems, or additional information and recommend solutions.
  • Provide meeting management support, such as scheduling, logistics, and meeting notes.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and proven team player. • Highly organized and values project documentation. • Strong oral, written communication and presentation skills and demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders at all levels • Well versed of Project Management methods and their application • Understanding of scheduling techniques/best practices • Proficient in MS Project and SharePoint 

 

Education and Experience:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree
  • Project management experience and/or training.
  • Experience creating and maintaining program and project schedules using Microsoft Project or comparable tools.
  • Minimum three years of experience working in business environments collaborating with teams and working with executives, program and project managers.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Excel, Visio, Project, SharePoint and other online collaboration tools

 

Desired: Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) with a PMI-Scheduling Professional credential
