Compensation Analyst

Currently recruiting for a Compensation Analyst with one to three years’ experience.  Will be responsible for supporting the administration of compensation programs including but not limited to job evaluations, writing job descriptions, reviewing compensation surveys and pricing jobs.  Excellent hourly rate and benefits offered.


  • Administers and facilitates several compensation programs.
  • Collects, analyzes and maintains data related to merit salary administration, variable pay planning and HRIS programs and interfaces utilized by  Human Resources.
  • Participates in development of essential policy and HR operations changes and problem resolution for assigned areas of compensation.
  • Provides software support and training for HRIS to HR staff.


Required Skills:

  • Detailed knowledge of compensation practices, programs and administration in assigned areas.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.  Ability to conduct impact analysis with job movement. Ability to effectively interpret data and prepare reports.
  • Knowledge of Human Resources principles, activities and HRIS system concepts.
  • Broad knowledge of job evaluation programs, salary structure development, survey sourcing and planning, and salary administration methods.
  • Thorough knowledge of desk top office products to produce correspondence, spreadsheets, reports, various communication materials and create comprehensive presentations.
  • Intermediate skills in general financial and accounting principles and calculations to prepare and validate moderately complex formulas, identify accurate results, and recommend compensation actions.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to handle time and data sensitive assignments and interact with staff and management.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills to interact with peers, officers, managers and staff, vendors and other outside contacts.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and address and provide solutions to sensitive situations.



  • Bachelor's Degree with a major in Human Resources or Business preferred or an equivalent combination of education and job-related experience equal to 1 - 3 years.
