Human Resources Assistant

Work closely with Recruitment Managers to ensure a smooth process for candidates from offer letter preparation through arrival at new location.  The position involves offer letter preparation, pre-employment scheduling, start date confirmation, and ensuring that the employee is prepared for their first day at their new location.

                                  

Responsibilities include:

  • Prepares and communicates interview confirmations and interview material
  • Prepares accurate, professional offer letters for selected candidates
  • Schedules, coordinates and communicates release on background checks, drug screens, physicals and/or other pre-employment testing as appropriate
  • Formats job descriptions using HTML
  • Compiles and mails new hire packets
  • Ensures candidates receive expense forms in a timely manner
  • Organizes email database
  • Other HR duties as assigned

Education/Experience Required:

  • High School Diploma, plus 2-5 years of practical experience in a high volume scheduling environment; Associate’s Degree preferred
  • Experience in an HR/Staffing environment and with a Hiring Management System (HMS) preferred
    • Competency with MS Office Suite, including Excel
