Administrative Assistant_Oak Hill, VA

Excellent opportunity for a Senior Level Administrative Assistant with a well- known-company in the Oak Hall, VA area.   This position is for new construction.  The work will occur in an on-site construction trailer. The hours for this position are 8am to 5pm, Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer telephone calls, make appointments and schedule meetings.
  • Initiate and compose correspondence.
  • Collect, compile and analyze information and data.
  • Investigate questionable areas and makes administrative decisions.
  • Maintain and update office supplies and assists in maintenance of department files.
  • Process invoices, handle confidential records and information, and/or make travel arrangements.
  • Exercise considerable discretion in performance of duties and responsibilities.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to less experienced office support staff.
  • Pick up and distribute incoming mail and faxes.  Fax outgoing documents.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Extensive clerical/administrative experience.
  • Ability to collect, compile and analyze information and data.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • High level of initiative and ability to use judgment.
  • Strong skills operating computerized and standard office equipment.
  • Excellent skills in MS-Office.
  • Strong planning and organizing skills.
  • Education High School or GED preferred Discipline

 

This is a temporary assignment through October, 2016.  This assignment may be extended upon project and work performance.  Selected candidate must pass a background check and drug test. Excellent hourly rate plus benefits offered.
