Business Process Analyst_Akron, OH

Currently recruiting for a junior to intermediate level Business Process Analyst to work with a well-known company in Akron, OH.  Must have 3-5 years’ experience in compiling and analyzing data, with the ability to use data to make recommendations on improving business processes. Excel, Word and PowerPoint experience required. Competitive hourly rate and benefits offered. Normal working hours are 8am to 5pm, Monday – Friday, however will allow flexible working hours and lunch period.

Responsibilities: 

  • Compile regular and special reports using established formats and procedures.
  • Resolve discrepancies and communicate with various administrative and professional employees within and outside the company.
  • Answer questions related to business process or function.
  • Perform complex tasks requiring analysis, discretion and detailed knowledge of applicable policies and procedures including; selecting and compiling data and making calculations to translate data and information into required results; investigating and providing routine explanations for variations from generally expected results.
  • Interpret policies and procedures and make recommendations for improvements.
  • May provide guidance and assist in training of less experienced staff.
  • Complete special assignments and projects. 

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of company or department procedures associated with administration and management of business process or function.
  • Ability to prioritize work and exercise significant amount of discretion in performance of duties and responsibilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent skills using MS-Office.  SAP preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities and resources.
