Travel Administrative Assistant - Richmond, VA

International security company is seeking a Travel Coordinator for their Richmond, VA office. This role will report directly to the Administrator of the Travel program. This is a contract role with the possibility of permanent placement with the company. Responsibilities include:

  • Serving as the liaison between employees and travel agencies
  • Facilitate travel profiles and coordinate domestic and international travel
  • Manage and maintain the travel inbox - handling travel issues, re-booking flights, handling last minute arrangements and changes)
  • Reconciling travel expenses for multiple employees
  • Assist with incoming calls to the department
  • Process payment for department invoices
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • A 'can-do' attitude and ability to prioritize multiple tasks is critical
  • Experience with Concur software is a huge plus
