VoIP Analyst (Richmond, VA)

 

Duties/Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for daily PBX, Voice over IP (VoIP), and voicemail operations, external voice network, ACD and network capacity and performance
  • Support for data network including routers, switches, data circuits, and building cable infrastructure
  • Troubleshooting voice and network connectivity issues
  • Support for collaboration technology and telephony hardware

 

Knowledge/Skill Requirement

 

  • Telecommunications: PBX, VoIP, voicemail, CTI, VRU and other peripheral devices
  • Network: Frame relay, routers, hubs, token ring, Ethernet, TCP/IP, IP
  • Voice Network: Toll free and long distance carrier features (LCR, VNET, take-back-transfer, rules based routing), tariffs and tolls, trunk sizing, ISDN BRI and PRI, routing protocols
  • Strong technical/problem troubleshooting skills

Experience with the following:

Cisco CUCM, Unity, CCX, IM&P – jabber

Cisco WFO QM Call Recording – Webex WFM as well

moving phones, user setup

daily voice issues conference room video systems/issues – Webex room devices and older cisco SX/MX devices

Cisco Cube Gateway - sip trunks

iPsession for emergency alerts and CER

Pay rate: Up to $97.65/hr
